The Factory
Located in the heart of Nicaragua’s prime tobacco growing region is the small factory that produces the majority of Hight Cigars. Tabacalera Lorenzo Briones, S.A. is well known in the town of Esteli, Nicaragua as it is home to three generations of the Briones Family which includes, rollers, blenders, and a full time agronomist. Don Lorenzo, the patriarch, still manages and quality conscious family business. His credentials include H. Uppman of Cuba, and he served as manager of Nicaragua’s famous Joya de Nicaragua and Drew Estate. Tabacalera Lorenzo Briones, S.A. has been Hight Cigar’s production partner beginning with the very first Hight Cigar created seven years ago.
